Directors of unincorporated association

We acted for the members of the board of an unincorporated association (insured under the Victoria Managed Insurance Authority’s NGO program) that went into liquidation. The liquidator sued the members for insolvent trading, with the members seeking indemnity under the directors and officers cover of the NGO program. Following settlement of the claim, we provided advice the VMIA as to how to amend its policy wording in relation to insolvent trading.
