Anthony has extensive experience in insurance law, specialising in professional indemnity and directors and officers liability claims.

With over 20 years’ experience, Anthony acts for insurers in major claims against accountants and auditors, insurance intermediaries, securities and investment industry intermediaries, trustees and financial institutions, mortgage brokers, property industry professionals such as real estate agents and valuers, lawyers, architects, all classes of engineers, surveyors, builders, rural and agricultural advisers, health industry professionals, universities and company directors and officers.

He has significant experience advising in other classes of claims including fidelity, information technology liability, bankers bond policy, employment liability and discrimination, and contractors all risk and project insurance claims.

Anthony’s experience extends to advising on policy interpretation issues.

He participates in risk management education seminars for insured professionals and regularly authors articles on liability insurance issues. Anthony co-authored the Australian Chapter of the international text ‘Directors’ Liability and Indemnification – A Global Guide’ (1st and 2nd editions). The guide provides a practical and detailed analysis of directors’ liability and indemnification in 35 countries and has become a key resource for insurers, insureds and insurance related professional operating in the globalised directors and officers insurance market.

Anthony has been ranked in the peer-reviewed Best Lawyers® in Australia reports published annually by the Australian Financial Review since 2012.
